Bay & Bay Transportation names EVP of trucking

Feb. 24, 2015

Aaron Thompson has been hired as EVP of trucking for Bay & Bay Transportation. Thompson will oversee all departments related to trucking including safety, recruiting, operations, maintenance, orientation, training and fuel procurement, the company said.

Thompson most recently worked with a Fortune 100 energy company in Minnesota. He also spent 15-plus years running retail truck dealerships and Detroit Diesel engine distributors. Thompson also has experience as a vice president of operations for a midsized carrier in Kansas City and vice president of maintenance operations for a top 100 carrier based in Minnesota.

“I am excited to get back into the truckload space with an organization that has a vision and appetite for growth.  I love to lead in that capacity; I love all the hard working people, and the ever changing dynamics trucking throws at you every day.  It's truly where my passion lies,” Thompson said.
