The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration has removed five more devices from its list of registered electronic logging devices, effective immediately.
FMCSA moved CI ELD LOGS, CN ELD, KSK ELD, TT ELD 30, and TT ELD 1010 to the revoked devices list, claiming that the companies failed to meet the minimum registered ELD requirements.
Motor carriers using these ELDs must replace them with compliant ELDs within 60 days—before April 28. Before the deadline, drivers can revert to paper logs or logging software to record their service hours.

Revoked ELDs
With the addition of these five devices, there are currently 185 ELDs in FMCSA’s Revoked Devices list. In comparison, there are at least 917 unique registered ELDs.
One hundred sixty-three of the revoked devices are self-revoked—where the owning company either ceases to provide the device or goes out of business—and 22 are administration-revoked, where FMCSA itself removes the devices from its registered ELD list for failing to meet minimum standards. The five latest revoked devices belong to this latter category.
Revoked ELDs can be reinstated by correcting FMCSA’s identified problems within 60 days.
CI ELD LOGS had previously been revoked in December 2023, alongside nine other devices. It was reinstated a week later. However, with this latest announcement, FMCSA has again revoked CI ELD LOGS.
