The Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA) has launched the new Online Training Library, which offers 80 online courses in safety management, human resources compliance, and other operational best practices.
These courses target specific needs of the cold chain industry and are available to warehouse operators, transportation providers, contractors, and suppliers. GCCA online training meets Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) training standards.
Each of the 80 courses has been vetted and approved by a committee of cold chain executives and delivers individualized, self-paced training that can be accessed on demand, 24/7. By allowing students to work at their own pace and review material as many times as needed, GCCA Online Training increases knowledge retention.
The library includes 43 courses related to worker safety and food safety and also 36 courses in human resources and personnel management.
The Online Training Library makes documenting and managing training easy by allowing employers to track course completion and success rates through an advanced learning management system. Students can also earn “certificates of mastery” as further proof of knowledge.
Employers can also ensure instructional consistency. Each course is standardized, teaching the same body of knowledge and leaving no gaps in training.
These self-paced courses can be accessed on demand at www.gcca.org/training. Registration is $35 per course for members and $75 per course for non-members. Contact Colleen Caster at [email protected] or +1-703-373-4300 to learn about group discounts or to arrange for a demonstration.
