CAS Dataloggers recently introduced the V5C cold chain data logger manufactured by Frigga.
The new device allows real-time tracking of perishable shipments by providing temperature, humidity, light, shock, and location. The V5C incorporates a built-in LTE 4G/5G cellular modem with a global roaming SIM card to enable worldwide use. Data is automatically uploaded and viewable through Frigga’s cloud-based web software and Frigga Track mobile app.
Data can be exported from the website as an Excel spreadsheet or PDF report that includes summary statistics and a detailed list of time/temperature and location data, CAS reported.
Features:
- Onboard storage for 28,000 readings
- Up to 60 days of operation at 1-hour reporting interval
- User-selectable data logging and data upload interval
- PDF report via USB interface
- Alerts via email, SMS, or app (iOS and Android)
- Temp measurement range: 30°C to +70°C, typical accuracy ±5°C
- Humidity measurement range: 5-95% RH, typical accuracy ±3%
The V5C provides visibility into the cold chain by tracking location, temperature, humidity, light, shock and route with data automatically sent to the cloud. These loggers work for life science, pharmaceutical, food, or commercial applications that require real-time cold chain monitoring, along with location, CAS said.
Frigga loggers are used by industry-leading companies including 7-Eleven, Proctor and Gamble, McDonald’s, and DHL.
