FMCSA updates ELD web pages, FAQs | ELD mandate

FMCSA announced it has streamlined the ELD section of its website to create a more user-friendly system and highlight critical ELD information.

New FAQs

Questions and answers have been added that address a variety of questions to include:

  • Vehicles with a manufacturer year of 2000 equipped with older engine components
  • How the ELD rule applies to the agriculture exemption

Resource Page

Visitors can access fact sheets, brochures and more in both English and Spanish languages on the new ELD resource page.

New website for ELD manufacturers:

  • Test your ELD output files with the new ELD file validator
  • Access technical specification questions and answers
