Accessory product training goes online

Oct. 12, 2016

Truck accessories manufacturer Minimizer has established an online training program for distributors of its truck fenders, tool boxes, light kits, seating line and other products to help them stay current on features and benefits, according to the company.  The ongoing training will focus on one new product or topic each month, according to director of sales Stephen Hansen.

All distributor employees who have received in-person training on the company’s products will automatically be enrolled in the new Minimizer U. In addition, the training is complemented by monthly e-mails and videos with incentives offered for those who complete the follow up material.

“As I used to tell my father, nobody wakes up with Minimizer in their heads,” said company CEO Craig Kruckeberg. “We have to make sure we stay in front of everyone. This online training course is a great way to engage our distributors on a regular basis.”

Minimizer recognizes that their distributors “the feet on the street that promote and sell our products every day,” Hansen said.  “We know they have a ton of product lines so this is one method of staying front-of-mind with them as they call on their customers each day.”
