Clean Diesel Technologies, Inc. recently announced that it has licensed its Wire Mesh Filter (WMF) technology to Headway Machinery Co., Ltd. based in Zhucheng City, China.

According to Clean Diesel, this agreement enables Headway to develop WMF technology to provide particulate matter emission reduction solutions to truck manufacturers in China. In return, Clean Diesel will receive an upfront licensing fee from Headway and royalties on all WMF units sold in the country.

China adopted Euro IV emissions standards on January 1, 2008. The WMF technology is intended to enable Headway to help truck OEMs based in China comply with these new emission standards for light- and medium-duty trucks.
