Delo adds coolant

Delo has introduced Nitrite Free Extended Life coolant/antifreeze for on- and off- road heavy-duty equipment and stationary applications.

The coolant/antifreeze has a service life of 600,000 miles, 12,000 hours or six years without a chemical extender, the company said. It also offers corrosion protection, lower electrical conductivity and improved water pump life.

“Not only does our new product meet the needs of OEMs requiring the use of nitrite-free OAT coolants, it also provides maximum protection of the six basic metal alloys found in most heat transfer systems,” said Carmen Ulabarro, indirect channel manager, Chevron Products Co.

According to the company, the product is currently available in North America in pails, drums, and bulk and will soon be offered in gallon jugs, and meets the requirements of Detroit Diesel/MBE, Cummins, MTU, and many European and Japanese OEMs.
