Chevron has released Delo Heavy Duty EP greases, designed for heavy to severe duty on- and off-highway construction and maintenance applications.

Chevron said Delo Heavy Duty EP greases display outstanding water washout and spray-off resistance properties in wet, off-road environments and offer excellent shock load extreme pressure (EP) protection. These properties make the product ideal heavy to severe duty on- and off-highway construction and maintenance vehicles, including tri-axle dump trucks, cement mixers, overweight truck and trailer combinations, logging and heavy machinery haul trucks, noted the company

Delo Heavy Duty EP greases will be available during the second quarter of 2008 in 3% and 5% molybdenum versions and in NLGI 1 and 2 grades. Delo Heavy Duty EP greases meet the requirements of the Mack MG-C grease specification and also meet Caterpillar recommendations for greases containing 3% and 5% molybdenum disulfide.
