Detroit launches new website

April 19, 2012

In support of the recently launched new brand, Detroit has created a new website. Located at www.DemandDetroit.com, the site offers a range of product information, customer support tools, enhanced navigation, and in-depth information about the company’s complete line of powertrain-related components.

The website showcases the family of Detroit heavy-duty engines and axles and provides specific application-based recommendations. Users are also able to instantly look up the nearest Detroit service location or register an engine with Detroit Virtual Technician, Detroit’s onboard diagnostic system.
Also located on the site is a diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) locator. Customers can enter their zip code to find the closed DEF station. There are also details on Detroit events and links to social media channels.

“Our new website was designed to provide our customers with useful, in-depth information about our products and services, to help them be as efficient and productive as possible,” said Brad Williamson, manager, engine and component marketing for Daimler Trucks North America. “Customers know they can demand it all from Detroit, and with the enhanced site, we have put the right information at their fingertips.”
