Double Coin raises prices

Rising raw material prices are resulting in another tire manufacturerboosting prices. Double Coin Tires and China Manufacturers Alliance (CMA)has announced general price increases up to 5% with some in-line changes as well on Double Coin TBY & ROTR products as well as private label products.

“The continuing increases in raw materials along with rising costs of ocean and inland transportation are major contributors for the change in pricing,” said Aaron Murphy, vice president of CMA.

Double Coin said it last raised priceson June 1, 2011. These new price increases will go into effect on April 1, 2012.
