Heritage Propane, a division of Energy Transfer Partners (ETP), has ordered three new Sterling Acterra trucks to be painted pink and blue to raise awareness and funds for breast and prostate cancer.

Two of the trucks will be painted blue for prostate cancer, and one truck will be painted pink for breast cancer. ETP will donate 1 cent to the American Breast Cancer Foundation and the Prostate Cancer Foundation for every gallon of fuel each truck uses, up to $10,000 per year, the company said.

The program was launched on March 30 at the National Propane Gas Association's Southeastern Convention and International Propane Expo in Atlanta. Sterling donated $2,500 to the cause, with other suppliers providing additional donations and parts.
