Horton has expanded its Britton, SD, remanufacturing plant because of growth in its remanufactured fan drive business.

The expansion included the installation of more windows in the building to reduce energy consumption and enhanced the work environment, Horton said.

“The larger manufacturing area provides space for additional remanufacturing team members as product demand increases,” said Jim Boyko, director of manufacturing at Horton.

Horton’s remanufacturing program replaces obsolete and damaged parts and remanufactures fan drives to the same specifications as the newest models.
