Daniel J. Murphy, president and CEO of Idealease, Barrington, IL, has been named vice chairman of the Truck Renting and Leasing Assn. (TRALA). Murphy will assume the role of chairman following Steve Lawrence, CEO of Lawrence NationaLease, for 2014-2015.
“I am honored to serve as vice chairman for TRALA and I look forward to contributing to their mission of fostering a positive legislative and regulatory climate for the leasing and rental industry in North America,” Murphy said. “With more than 500 leasing and rental firms and 100 suppliers, TRALA’s membership speaks with a unified and focused voice for our industry.”
