Jacobson Companies has purchased 259 Mack Pinnacle tractors for use throughout the U.S. The order includes 139 day cabs and 120 sleepers.
Jacobson is a third-party logistics provider based in Des Moines, IA.
“We chose Mack because they developed a truck that met our needs and would retain its value in the market,” said Scott Temple, president of Jacobson Transportation Logistics Services. “These new trucks will replace older model trucks and refresh our fleet with new technology and improved fuel efficiency. Driver safety and retention remain a high priority for Jacobson, and the Mack Pinnacle models are equipped with features that promote driver safety and comfort.”
The Pinnacle includes an aerodynamic sloped hood, ergonomic wraparound dash, and maximum visibility and comfort for the driver. The Jacobson units are equipped with Mack ClearTech MP8 445 hp. engines.
