Kinedyne Corp. has released the K2 Kaptive Beam system, featuring a vertical aluminum track and decking beams, aimed at optimizing trailer cube space for interior van fleet operators, the company said.

According to Kinedyne, the system pays for itself in 3,500 miles by creating a second deck in the trailer for storing extra cargo, allowing each beam to perform to working load limits of 2,200 lbs. for decking applications and 1,500 lbs. for shoring applications.

The company also released the Ratchet Winch Bar, which Kinedyne said turns all winches into ratcheting winches, minimizing driver effort and enabling drivers to operate the bar to tension the cargo strap and secure a load within a safe possible range of motion.
