LPI Lift Systems has released a large custom work platform designed to increase the safety and efficiency of loading flatbed trailers, providing a fall prevention system and work area for staging packing materials, the company said.

The 45-ft. long by 72-in. wide platform extends from a lowered height of 5 feet to a maximum raised height of 12 ½ ft., with a lift capacity of 1,500 lbs., LPI said.

The unit’s two independent control stations and floor mounted pedestal control station includes an emergency stop function in addition to a Z-axis control for up and down movement and a Y-axis control for platform extension and retraction, the company added.
