Michelin Retread Technologies has introduced the XDN2 Pre-Mold, an all-weather drive retread designed for improved traction and mileage, the company said.

The XDN2 features Michelin’s Matrix Siping Technology, which provides traction in extreme weather conditions from over 1,300 biting edges. It has a top layer for improved wear and traction, and a bottom layer for maintaining cool internal casing temperatures, according to Michelin.

The retread is currently available in 220, 230 and 240 mm sizes.
