Sloan Transportation Products has introduced MaxxDuty hose assemblies, which feature a plating material that is said to better withstand the corrosive effects of new de-icing chemicals.

Sloan Transportation Products has introduced MaxxDuty hose assemblies, which feature a plating material that is said to better withstand the corrosive effects of new de-icing chemicals.

“In the past, most government agencies and private companies used salt to de-ice roads throughout northern regions,” said Chris Terryn, Sloan Transportation product manager. “The increased use of calcium and magnesium chloride….has led to an alarming increase in the corrosion of ….vehicle components.”
