Kenworth T800, W900 and C500 heavy-duty truck models for vocational applications now can be spec’d with Hendrickson Primaax EX suspensions, the OEM has announced.
The Primaax EX is a premium heavy-duty air suspension designed for the rigorous demands of vocational, severe-service and heavy-haul applications, the company noted. It is designed to enhance stability, durability, reliability and handling and includes higher roll stiffness, optimized suspension geometry for increased roll stability and a redesigned U-beam assembly, air spring, torque rod bracket and frame bracket.
“Kenworth continues to expand its suspension offering with quality products to help meet customer requirements in demanding vocational applications,” said Jason Skoog, Kenworth director of marketing planning and research.
The suspension is available in tandem configurations rated at 46,000 lbs. and 52,000 lbs. and in a tridem configuration rated at 69,000 lbs.
