Kenworth has published a new brochure on its T440 medium-duty truck model. The OEM noted the T440 is designed for customers who need heavy-duty performance in a medium-duty truck, such as regional haul, P&D, municipal and vocational applications.

The brochure offers product information and detailed specs in six pages.

The truck is more compact and includes a lighter-weight package than a Class 8 vehicle, pointed out KW. The T440 includes many of the features of Kenworth’s heavy-duty product line, including an ergonomic multiplexed dash, aerodynamic sloped hood and 3-piece bumper as well as the Kenworth Driver Information Center.

The T440 is available as a straight truck or tractor in GVW ratings ranging from 33,000 to 68,000 lbs. It is powered by a Paccar PX-8 engine, rated at 350 hp. and 1,000 lbs.-ft. of torque. A Cummins ISL engine at 380 hp. and 1,300 lbs.-ft. of torque, or a Cummins ISL G natural gas engine rated at 320 hp. and 1,000 lbs.-ft. of torque are also available.

The brochure can be downloaded at www.kenworth.com/6100_pre_mor.asp?file=2622.
