A new low-voltage LED light equipped with a 100 lb. grip magnetic base and 20-in. long bendable gooseneck with double ball joint has been released by Larson Electronics’ magnalight.com.
The light offers a 10-watt LED producing 860 lumens and featuring an IP68 rated housing made of high-strength aluminum. It is designed to operate on any voltage ranging from 9 to 46 volts DC and is ideal for mechanics, plant operators, industrial machinists, Magnalight said.
It draws only 1/4 amp at 12 volts. According to Magnalight, the 20-in. bendable gooseneck makes the light perfect for work in close quarters such as that involved with engine repairs. The light, which remains cool to the touch, includes a magnetic base for convenient mounting to metal surfaces.
“We are putting one of our most popular LED lights on a magnetic base with a flexible gooseneck mount for low voltage applications, including vehicles and heavy equipment maintenance,” said Rob Bresnahan with Larson Electronics’ magnalight.com. “This is a compact, lightweight, high powered LED light source that can be positioned at any angle to assist in working on equipment, vehicles, pumps and generators. Since it runs on any voltage, including 12 volts, 24 volts and 36 volts, it is extremely versatile.”
