Xantrex Technology has added a 60-amp charger model to its TrueCharge 2 Battery Charger Series offerings, which also include 20- and 40-amp versions. The new charger is compact with easily accessible AC and DC wiring compartments, allowing it to be mounted virtually anywhere, the company said.

The 60-amp model features a drip-proof design, low electrical interference, optimal power factor corrected, multistage charging and reverse-polarity battery protection, according to Xantrex.

“The addition of our new 60-amp charger bolsters our offering in the popular TrueCharge 2 product category for both OEM and aftermarket applications,” said David Norman, Xantrex director of sales & customer service. “We believe this new full-featured product is truly best in class and is a direct reflection of our corporate commitment to the commercial, utility and electric vehicle markets.”
