A commercial-grade backup camera system has been developed specifically for the redesigned 2007 Dodge Sprinter van by Rostra Precision Control Inc. The new Rearsight system provides Sprinter drivers with a 150-deg. wide-angle rearward view and features automatic infrared sensing for night vision. The Sprinter kit includes a heavy-duty, waterproof color video camera and a heavy-duty mounting bracket

A commercial-grade backup camera system has been developed specifically for the redesigned 2007 Dodge Sprinter van by Rostra Precision Control Inc. The new Rearsight system provides Sprinter drivers with a 150-deg. wide-angle rearward view and features automatic infrared sensing for night vision.

The Sprinter kit includes a heavy-duty, waterproof color video camera and a heavy-duty mounting bracket with a 5-ft. harness. Inside the van, drivers have a 3.5-in LCD monitor that mounts on the headliner and features dual video inputs to accommodate additional navigation, DVD or interior camera systems.

Rostra says it will continue to offer a separate Rearsight camera system for 2006 and older Sprinter models.

This would be a great feature to any dodge since bucking up a van especially if it is enclosed proves to be hard. Cameras are very important since you'll be backing your vehicle blind. It's a good thing they have to put it as a standard to their ever growing Dodge Collection of vehicles.
