Electronic stability now standard

Mack Trucks announced that an electronic stability system is now standard on all of its on-highway vehicles. The Road Stability Advantage by Bendix (Mack RSA) uses existing ABS wheel speed sensors, as well as steering, yaw and lateral acceleration inputs to deactivate the throttle and selectively apply brakes in sharp curves and during sudden lane changes or other obstacle-avoidance maneuvers.
