Thermo King extends PM

Thermo King is extending its Thermo Gard Bronze preventive maintenance and inspection program to include truck and trailer refrigeration units that go into service in 2006.

New to the program are optional e-mail service reminders from Thermo King, based on age of equipment or number of hours on a unit.

Under the Thermo Gard Bronze program, new trailer and SB Classic units are eligible for two interim inspections and one PM service for 3 years/6,000 hours; self-powered trucks units receive one interim inspection and one PM service for 2 years; vehicle-powered truck units receive two interim inspections for two years.
