MagStar Technologies has announced its Revolution Centrifuge Systems, which it said cleans oil to extended drain intervals while reducing soot and other wear particles in modern diesel engines.

According to the company, the system removes solid contaminants down to 0.1 micron, providing 40 times the efficiency and 20 times the dirt-holding capacity of traditional bypass filters, extending oil and filter life by up to 200%.

The system cleans oil while the engine is operating, compacting contaminants and turning the particles into solid cake for easy and environmentally friendly disposal, Magstar said.
