The two companies previously collaborated to create four LNG-powered Model 386 tractors for Wal-Mart’s Apple Valley, CA, distribution center, funded in part by the Mojave Desert Air Quality Management District.

“LNG is emerging as an alternative clean, high-performance fuel for trucks that is domestically available and economical,” said Bill Jackson, Peterbilt gm and Paccar vp. “Peterbilt is committed to delivering products that reduce harmful emissions and realistically provide the performance and economics that our customers need.”
