Peterbilt's Model 579 Autonomous Truck in Action

Peterbilt's autonomous test truck is a Model 579 equipped with a Cummins engine and several distinct technologies that allows the tractor to drive itself, according to Bill Kahn, the OEM's principle engineer and manager of advanced concepts: GPS navigation, highly-precise GPS maps, and a lane-keeping system.
