Prestolite’s Arcade Division, the company’s manufacturing operation based in Arcade, NY, achieved the certification based on performance in several areas, including product quality, delivery, process control, customer service, and continuous improvement. The division manufactures and supplies starters and alternators used in several Caterpillar equipment models.

“This is a significant achievement for our entire U.S.-based team,” said Tony Wong, Prestolite division president for North America, South America and Australia. “Our partnership with every customer, both at the OEM level and within the aftermarket, is built on a commitment to delivering best-in-class product quality, performance and value. Caterpillar’s quality assessment programs are without peer in the off-road and industrial markets, and we are very proud to have met their very high standards.”

A division of global manufacturer Broad-Ocean Motors, Prestolite develops and produces a broad array of highly advanced rotating electrical and new-energy solutions for on- and off-road vehicles and equipment.  The company also manufacturers an extensive line of premium replacement starters and alternators under the widely respected Leece-Neville brand.
