The STS- 6000 automated fuel filtration system from Algae-X International matches the performance of its STS-5000 line at a significantly lower price, the company said.

The system removes water, sludge and tank sediment from stored fuel and features Algae-X’s patented fuel conditioning technology, which reverses the natural fuel deterioration process, according to the company.

Designed for fuel tanks in the 5,000 gallon range, the fully automated STS-6000 features a user-programmable controller that can be set to run at predetermined times to keep fuel in optimal condition at all times, Algae-X said. The system also includes built-in diagnostics, alarms and indicators for safe operation with UL-508A certification.
