Shell's engine teardown strategy

Shell Lubricants believes only extensive field tests of its engine oils in real-world truck opertaions deliver true validation for its products. And part of that 'validation' process includes tearing down (and then rebuilding) the engines of customer trucks involved in field trials. Shell brought journalists along to examine one of its engine teardown/rebuild efforts, conducted with the help of Clarke Power Services located outside Greensboro, N.C.
