Snider Fleet Solutions announced it acquired 27 locations from TCI Tire Centers.

Snider Fleet Solutions announced it acquired 27 locations from TCI Tire Centers. Snider said it now has distribution ability into 75% of the continental United States with over 80 commercial tire and mechanical services locations.

“This acquisition extends our coverage throughout the eastern United States,” said John Snider, President and CEO of Snider Fleet Solutions. “It allows us to help our customers in more locations and provide our expert services to new customers.”

Snider recently introduced a proprietary information management system, its FleetSMART technology that allows technicians at any location to service trucks according to that fleet’s unique service guide.

“We’re excited to extend the reach of FleetSMART to more highways and more customers,” said Marty Herndon, executive vice president and COO of Snider Fleet Solutions. “Now our customers will know their fleet is being managed exactly to their specs across more of the U.S.”

The acquisitions extend Snider Fleet Solution’s coverage area into Alabama, Mississippi, Virginia and Louisiana, while also adding additional locations in Florida, Texas, and Tennessee. The new locations bring the total number of employees to over 1,500. In addition, Snider now has a total of eleven retread plants, which allows them to produce 3,300 medium truck tire retreads per day.
