Telescopic vehicle lift released

Sept. 19, 2012

Stertil-Koni has unveiled a new high-pressure telescopic piston lift with lifting capacities up to 96,000 lbs. The Diamond Lift is available in either two- or three-piston configuration. The two piston model has a 64,000 lbs. lifting capacity while the three-piston model can handle 96,000 lbs.

According to the company, the lift’s telescopic pistons protect all the critical seals from potential damage by debris. The piston rods are hard-chrome plated for maximum protection against corrosion and wear.

The lift is certified to ANSI/ALI ALCTV current edition by ETL/Intertek.

Biodegradable oil is used and the upper portion of the steel containment is hot galvanized, which provides corrosion resistance at floor level and ensures proper interlock with the foundation.  In addition, the containments are coated internally and externally with DiamondGuard, which not only safeguards against corrosion and electrolysis, Stertil-Koni said. It also prohibits hazardous shop fluids from entering the environment.

A mechanical locking system with hardened, nitro carburized locking rod adds to the corrosion and wear resistance properties of the products. The lift also forgoes the use of traditional rollers, instead employing  an aluminium trench covering system that travels on ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene slides atop a stainless steel guide, which is maintenance free.
