TODCO introduces a new member of its roll-up door family, the TODCOLD refrigerated door, Scott Blackford, senior vice president of sales, announced. Designed to help protect cargo, save energy and reduce overall cost per mile, TODCOLD reefer doors are available in 1-1/8” or 2-1/2” thickness with 1” or 2” track options. “The TODCOLD door comes with a multitude of built-in long-lasting, low maintenance and higher productivity features to reduce the customer’s cost per mile,” the company said. “The exterior surface has a polyaspartic painted top coat and an improved veil material for a smoother surface finish. TODCOLD provides the industry's toughest protection against rust with EverWare coated hardware, inside and out. The rollers are TODCO’s new SupeRollers, with nylon composite wheels and nylon composite coated shafts for maximum corrosion resistance. Even the counterbalance assembly is e-coated for extra protection against the elements and the cold.” According to the company, TODCOLD refrigerated doors are equipped with the company’s new Hold Open Door Keeper, a hinged bottom roller holder that allows the door to rest in the open position, behind the header. “This provides maximum height clearance as well as guarding against door damage during loading/unloading,” TODCO added.
