The 2017 model iteration of Ford Motor Co.'s Super Duty line - which encompasses the F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 designations - is 350 lbs. lighter than its previous incarnation, due to the use of lightweight steel and military-grade aluminum alloys; the same aluminum alloys used within the OEM's revamped F-150 pickup. The 2017 model Super Duty, which will be built at Ford's Kentucky Truck Plant and goes on sale later next year, will also offer 16 new features – from light emitting diode (LED) lighting to adaptive cruise control – with up to seven cameras available to help customers see more angles and monitor conditions surrounding the truck.
