Vipar Heavy Duty, a cooperative network of independent truck parts distributors, announced it has built two facilities for remanufacturing brakes

Vipar Heavy Duty, a cooperative network of independent truck parts distributors, announced it has built two facilities for remanufacturing brakes. One center serving the East opened outside of Indianapolis last month and the second will serve Western markets from Salt Lake City beginning on April 1, the company said.

The two CoMan Centers will supply Vipar members with remanufactured brakes for all truck brake systems and brands, said Steve Crowley, Vipar president & CEO. The two facilities will also serve as regional parts distribution centers for the Vipar parts network.

The remanufacturing facilities are being operated by Global Parts Network, a wholly-owned Vipar subsidiary created to make volume purchases of fast-moving truck parts for the company’s independent distributor members.
