A series of three 90-minute webinars will offer detailed information from car and truck builders on light-duty hybrid vehicles suitable for fleet applications

A series of three 90-minute webinars will offer detailed information from car and truck builders on light-duty hybrid vehicles suitable for fleet applications. Sponsored by the Alternative Fuel Vehicle Institute, the sessions are free to anyone who pre-registers (www.afvi.org).

The first is scheduled for Sept. 27. It will cover alternative-fuel models now or soon to be offered by American Honda, Chrysler, Ford, General Motors and Toyota.

The second, on Oct. 9, will focus on electric vehicles already on the market. It will include presentations from Dynasty Motorcar, Gemcar, Miles Automotive, Phoenix Motorcars, ZAP and Zenn.

On Oct. 11, the third webinar will cover small-volume manufacturers that build alternative fuel systems for light-, medium- and heavy-duty vehicles.

All three webinars will run from 10:30 AM to noon PST.
