As A. F. Wendling’s Foodservice entered its 100th year of operation, the company was looking for a way to blend its past with its present during an image rebranding process. After a consultation with Signature Graphics’ design team, and some help from its own in-house team and clients, the collaboration resulted in a striking graphic deployed on the sides of its nine trailers.

The new graphic includes a black and white image of Albert F. Wendling, founder of the company, standing in front of the company’s first delivery vehicle. On the other end of the trailer, a sampling of products is prominently displayed in all their vibrant colors. In between is the company name, website and the proud declaration that A. F. Wendling’s has been in business since 1913.

“The graphics on the previous straight trucks and trailers were peeling and misrepresenting the significant quality of products offered by A. F. Wendling,” says Scott Buchanan, marketing coordinator. “The units received a complete makeover and now present a clear message of established brand quality and corporate pride.”

The newly wrapped vehicles were rolled out just in time for a formal debut at the A. F. Wendling annual food show, with one of the trailers even making a local television appearance.
