All aboard!

Aug. 1, 2012

Union Pacific Railroad (UPR) is deploying several mobile classrooms built in partnership with Featherlite Trailers to provide its train engineers and conductors with ongoing operations and safety training. Each trailer contains seven simulator stations that accommodate two students at a time, with a web camera link to instructors in Salt Lake City and Omaha.

The trailers will move about the UPR network, stopping at current training facilities to supplement the curriculum as well as more remote locations that lack training facilities.
