• Frost & Sullivan promotes Kar

    Global consulting firm Frost & Sullivan recently promoted longtime trucking industry analyst Sandeep Kar to global VP of its automotive & transportation research practice.

    In his new role, Kar will oversee responsibility for the firm’s study of global automotive and transportation technology, econometric, application, market-focused research analysis, plus strategic advisory services to OEMs and other suppliers.

    Kar holds a master’s degree in heavy-truck dynamics from Concordia University in Montreal alongside a bachelor’s degree in automotive engineering from BIT Mesra.

    Prior to joining Frost & Sullivan, Kar held engineering and marketing positions with OEMs such as Tata Motors and Balmer Lawrie.
