  • Meet the world’s largest truck with an electric drive system. The Siemens system keeps an 800-ton gross vehicle weight vehicle moving, says Phys.Org.
  • An executive with Procter & Gamble told attendees at a recent conference that the supply chain could be much more efficient if companies could link trucks, distribution centers and more into a “physical internet,” reports Supply Management.
  • The drop in global oil prices could mean billions of dollars will be pumped into the U.S. economy just before Christmas as consumers spend more, says the Financial Times.
