    Sept. 3, 2015

Ross Reynolds, a 40-year veteran truck driver with the last 29 spent with LTL carrier Con-way Freight, recently snagged the first-ever International Driver Excellence Award (IDEA), which is co-sponsored by the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) and HELP Inc.

Based in Tucson, AZ, Reynolds has logged more than 2 million mi. without an accident and in the words of Stephen Keppler, CVSA’s executive director, “embodies everything we hoped for and more in an exceptional driver and a man of character. ”

“Knowing what they [CVSA] represent in the industry, this is an honor. Having somebody recognize what you are doing is very rewarding,” noted Reynolds. “It is a great honor to be considered, much less win this award.”
