Virginia DOT to close multiple lanes of I-95 North nightly this week

Aug. 27, 2012

The Virginia Dept. of Transportation will close multiple lanes on Interstate 95/395 north and south, from Garrisonville Road (Route 610), exit 143 in Stafford, to Duke Street (Route 236), exit 3 nightly from 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Thursday night, Aug. 30.

The lane closures are in place for barrier placement, test bores, and other related construction work on the new 95 Express Lanes project. The road work is in addition to nightly High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lane closures for 95 Express Lanes.

All lane closures will be suspended for the Labor Day Holiday weekend from noon on Aug. 31 until noon Sept. 4.
