Fleet owners and managers looking for a little relief from the rising cost of diesel can sign up for a free webcast focusing on this important issue. Fleet Owner and Truckload Carriers Assn. have teamed up to offer the “Survivors Guide to the Fuel Crisis,” the first of a three-part webcast designed to help businesses cope with rising fuel costs. The program, sponsored by TMW Systems, takes place Tuesday, June 17, at 2 p.m. (EST).

The webcast will feature subject matter experts plus fleet owners who have had success keeping fuel costs in line. Both will offer tips and suggestions to help managers analyze their business to ensure lanes and accounts are profitable, ways to maximize the efficiency of loads and routes by reducing out-of-route miles and deadheading, and how to find the best fuel prices by utilizing fuel cards and fuel purchase optimization software.

Registration for the webcast is now ongoing at www.fleetowner.com/fuel-webcast.
