Rypos is offering up to $400 in savings on its Rypos DPF/LETRU and Proventia FTF trailer mount filter products. Both products will help owners and operators meet new California Air Resources Board (CARB) Model year 2003 TRU (transport refrigeration unit) regulations. The deadline for MY2003 CARB ATCM compliance is Dec. 31, 2010.

The Rypos coupon programs run through Sept. 15, 2010.

The DPF/LETRU is a self-cleaning diesel exhaust filter that uses an electrically conductive sintered metal fiber medium and electrical power from the TRU to regenerate the filter when needed. The Proventia FTF is a passive flow-through filter that uses engine exhaust temperature to regenerate.

Either option can meet the full seven years of compliance mandated by CARB, Rypos said.

The coupon is good for $400 if presented with payment prior to Aug. 15, 2010, and drops to $250 by Aug. 31, 2010, and $100 by Sept. 15, 2010. There is a limit of one coupon per unit, which applies only to Carrier or Thermo King 2003 model year TRUs. The program does not apply to Bobtail FTF or the “straight truck” FTF.
