INDIANAPOLIS. Among the high-tech truck bodies introduced or on display here at the NTEA Work Truck Show, the new AeroBody rolled out by Supreme Corp. was a standout for its aerodynamic styling. But the body maker said there is more than just good looks to consider about its latest van body design.
According to Supreme, the AeroBody boasts “reliable, lightweight construction in our most aerodynamic design yet” to provide both power and fuel economy without sacrificing payload.
The company noted these key standard features of the body:

  • Aerodynamic design with Nested Wind Fairing – “nested directly to the cab, it moves with the cab to provide easy access to the engine while making the chassis and body appear as one”
  • Curved composite sidewalls—constructed with an integrated internal steel framework with steel posts on 24-in centers “to provide maximum durability as well as a streamlined road appeal”
  • Custom fiberglass rear frame—“provides a custom look plus extra strength from the 12-ga. galvanized steel frame that lies beneath”
  • FiberPanel front wall—weighs less than 1 lb. per sq. ft. for greater cargo capacity and durability
  • Full-width “pooched” step bumper with grab handle
  • Custom access door in skirting
  • Body-length skylight-- allows ambient light inside
  • Todco ToughShell rear roll-up door
  • “Superbright” LED recessed stop, turn, and tail lights with sealed wire harness
  • 12-volt dome light with cab switch
  • Seamless non-slip FRP floor with textured/grit surface
  • 3-year, 36,000-mi. bulkhead-to-bumper warranty
  • 5-year structural warranty covering roof, wall and floor structures
