ALK Technologies has released the PC*Miler 22, the 22nd annual upgrade for its routing, mileage and mapping software

ALK Technologies has released the PC*Miler 22, the 22nd annual upgrade for its routing, mileage and mapping software. It offers updated truck restrictions and allowances, toll costs by weight and axle, custom vehicle dimension routing and real-time fuel optimization, the company said.

“We have significantly enhanced our truck attributes, resulting in an 84% increase in truck restricted roadway,” said Kara Jo Witkowski, senior product manager, business solutions for ALK. “With a 159% increase in the number of truck restrictions and allowances, PC*MILER 22 enhances operations and accounting functions.”

Features include truck-specific toll costs by weight and axle count; the ability to generate routes based on custom vehicle dimensions; fuel optimization purchase plans based on daily prices; and over 9.5 million infoUSA points of interest such as truckstops, rest areas and official weigh stations, said ALK.
