Karmak, Inc. has updated its Director Series service shop and parts inventory software

Karmak, Inc. has updated its Director Series service shop and parts inventory software, adding the ability to create repair order quotes while improving the software’s reporting capabilities, the company said.

Designed for service shops, parts distributors and fleets with service operations, Director Series is designed to track unit repair costs while monitoring preventive maintenance and parts inventory.

The software includes two main applications, ServiceDirector and PartsDirector. According to the company, ServiceDirector tracks unit, customer, work-in-process and scheduled maintenance information while allowing the user to analyze technician productivity and job profitability.

PartsDirector, also available as a stand-alone application, allows users to quickly locate part and warranty information. It also streamlines purchasing with electronic ordering from suppliers when used with the Karmak Legend or Info 5 business system, the company said.
