Karmak is releasing a newly updated version of its ProfitMaster Internet Parts Sales, a web-based software package that allows heavy-duty dealers and distributors to receive parts orders over the Internet.

Integrated with Karmack’s business systems, the software allows parts suppliers to control which customers may purchase via the Internet and set pricing and other options for each customer. It processes and fulfills the orders, emailing an acknowledgement back to the customer, so sales personnel save time and increase accuracy over manually entered orders, the company noted.

On the retail website, customers can easily search for parts, check price and availability, create and maintain multiple shopping carts, and checkout, said Karmack. They can also view account history, service history, order status, part substitutions, and right-to-return cores, as well as choose shipping options, enter comments, and create a list of favorite parts.
